Jo-Ann,
I also had this realization awhile back, but had forgotten, Thank you for reminding us that we don't need to fight it all the time, but embrace it.

I'm glad you had this epiphany!
I still get annoyed by the people who tell me "you can't just lie in bed all day", as if they knew.

I couldn't agree more with that panicky feeling. I think we've all been there at one time or another.

The stillness you describe is like the moment I stopped struggling and started realizing that my body was panicking just as much as my mind was. Basically, we both just shut up for awhile...amazing what a little "time out" can do, eh? Glad you're feeling better each day~

Interesting research and the conclusion is a surprise. I always thought the effect form rheumatoid arthritis drugs would be adverse in case of flu. Rheumatoid arthritis drugs are supposed to supress overactivity of your immune system and your immune system combats infections. (I take leflunomide and my doctor told me to be extremely careful about infections for this reason).

Hi Donna,
I'm not sure that I was speaking of God when I talked about stillness, but I suppose that is up to interpretation.

Thanks for your comment.

Thanks Lana.
You've been such a support over this bad patch. I am improving although it has been slow.
