Product Review: O cedar Powerscrub Erasing Mop.

ocedarmopGolden RetreiverMy golden retriever Max is sick.  I spent most of last night letting him in and out of the house.  Initially I thought he was just throwing up.  Unfortunately it seems to be leaving his body from every available exit route.  Which is why I am reviewing this product today.  Because Max is a golden retriever, the hair on his hind quarters is quite long and well lets just say things get stuck in his long hair.  Which brings me to why my floors need immediate cleaning.  Unfortunately it is going to be one of those days because when I needed it most, my mop handle broke ( you know the part that wrings it out… the handle part broke off and the sponge will no longer stay on)  So first thing this morning after the kids got off to school I zipped over to the local Walmart to purchase a replacement mop.  I purchased the O cedar Powerscrub Erasing Mop.  It was reasonably priced at $6.98 and my other options were the kind that just broke or the kind that involves getting your hands wet and I am really not into that especially considering the task ahead of me.  To make a long story longer the option I purchase looked fairly easy to use and lightweight which for me is a must.  The mop did a great job cleaning the floors I was really happy with the way the floors were coming out.  I did however run into a bit of a problem.  I can’t wring the thing out .  In the place of a handle that moves the mop head forward and back between two rollers, they have put a “grip”.  I tried repeatedly with all my strength and the thing barely moved so out of desperation I called my 18 year old son to help.  He battled with the stupid thing and could do no better than I could to wring it out .  So out to the store I go again to try and find a mop that I can wring out.

Rating 2 out of 5.
